We provide unprecedented research services in the Neurology realm for scientists and companies alike. By seamlessly integrating machine learning power with deep clinical neurology expertise, we leverage our vast and comprehensive database to pioneer groundbreaking solutions for diagnosing brain disorders.
Transform Medicine and Science By D(R)EFINING DIAGNOSIS
We at Cell Signature Diagnostics GmbH are on a mission to revolutionize neurological and psychiatric diagnosis by using machine learning to analyze large and diverse data and provide accurate diagnosis, with innovative approaches and cutting-edge technology. We provide such research as a service.
Neurological and psychiatric diseases are common and complex. They affect millions of people and their quality of life. Understanding disease an drug mechanisms in this complex field is often hard and costly. We facilitate the process of understanding.
Brain disorders are hard to diagnose and require better solutions.
Imaging techniques for brain disorders are unspecific and need to be complemented.
Biomarkers for brain disorders are scarce which limits diagnostic and treatment options.
Brain disorders are a major public health issue and affect millions of people and their quality of life worldwide.
Comorbidity is common in brain disorders and complicates diagnosis.
Data is scarce for brain disorders which limits the research and innovation potential.
How Our Technology and Approach Overcome the Challenges of Neurology
At the forefront of neuroscience, we harness the power of machine learning and cell signatures to process and interpret our available vast and diverse database from the brain and the nervous system. Our innovative approach delivers precise diagnoses for neurological disorders, revolutionizing the field of neurology and pschiatry.
By using novel algorithms and accessing the world’s largest CSF data repository, we can unlock new insights and opportunities.
Cell signatures, the unique molecular fingerprints that define different cell types, hold the key to accelerating research and driving therapeutic breakthroughs. By decoding these intricate cellular identities, you can navigate the intricate landscape of human biology and diagnosis with unprecedented precision
Use cell signatures as a diagnostic test for neuroinflammatory diseases including multiple sclerosis (MS). Cell signatures can help to diagnose these diseases accurately and reliably.
These diseases affect the nervous system and involve inflammation of the brain, spinal cord, or peripheral nerves and can have different causes, symptoms, and outcomes, and can be challenging to diagnose and treat.
Leveraging our unique database and algorithms that contain cell signatures and clinical data from thousands of patients with differentneuroinflammatory and MS diseases, you can de-risk your endeavors, accelerate your timelines, and unlock new frontiers in neurological drug discovery and development.
By using machine learning techniques you can extract meaningful insights from the complex data of cell signatures and other markers.
We offer a range of services to diagnose and understand neurological diseases, such as:

The people behind Cell Signature Diagnostics
Dr. Vera Rödel is a German lawyer with a Master's degree in Health and Medical Management. With over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she has led the Global Legal Neurology & Immunology and Cardio Metabolic & Endocrinology Team at Merck Legal Healthcare. Before joining Merck in 2014, Dr. Rödel worked at Boehringer Ingelheim and Linklaters LLP. In 2023, Dr. Rödel co-founded Prof. Valmed®, a pioneering platform for medical information retrieval, and assumed the role of CEO.
In addition, in 2024 Dr. Rödel founded transforming legal® a company bringing digital transformation and legal technology together while shaping the digital future of the legal profession.
Prof. Dr Heinz Wiendl is Director of the Department of Neurology at Münster University Hospital and, among other things, spokesperson for the Collaborative Research Centre SFB TR128 Multiple Sclerosis - a national research network for the study of inflammatory diseases of the nervous system.
Thanks to this internationally visible scientific focus he will be instrumental in raising the company's profile among potential customers through his diverse professional networks. There are also long-standing scientific co-operation projects with diverse partners in the field of neurology.
Prof. Dr G. Meyer zu Hörste is managing senior physician at the Department of Neurology at Münster University Hospital and medical director of the clinic's cerebrospinal fluid laboratory, where flow cytometric analyses of cerebrospinal fluid cells have been carried out for many years.
One of his scientific focuses is the application of new analytical methods for a deep understanding of such high-throughput analyses in a patient-related context. Prof Dr G. Meyer zu Hörste is currently the Managing Director of CSD GmbH.
We are passionate about solving the challenges of brain disorders and creating innovative solutions that can make a difference. We have the experience, the knowledge, and the drive to achieve our mission.
